At the end of last month, 25 SLE6000’s left the SLE HQ in South Croydon, to make their way to their new home in Minsk, Belarus!
At the beginning of last year, our partners in Belarus started to work on a tender to supply a new perinatal centre with infant ventilators. The decision was made, and it was announced that SLE had won the tender and the order was officially placed in late last December. In total, 31 SLE6000 Ventilators were ordered, 25 of which have already left the UK and the remaining 6 will follow later this month. All of the ventilators are complete with OxyGenie, our automatic FiO2 control.
The ventilators will be based in a new perinatal centre, that is currently under construction and is due to open Summer 2021. This centre will take patients from the whole of Belarus. The previous centre in Minsk had used SLE5000’s for approximately 12 years!
While preparing the order for the 31 ventilators, we received another order for 10 SLE6000’s for a Regional Maternity Hospital in Minsk. All 10 ventilators had OxyGenie and CO2 Modules and were shipped in January, ready to be installed this month!
We are proud to know that our ventilators will help the smallest of patients.
