By 30th March 2017Uncategorised

SLE has been actively involved in ventilation for over 30 years, and has made a commitment to the ongoing education of all of our customers in the latest ventilation strategies and techniques.
The aim of our ventilation symposia is to cover everything from basic understanding to bedside application of both Conventional and High Frequency Oscillation ventilation.
SLE is delighted to announce that in June this year we will be running a Ventilation Symposium at the Fundación INSIMED, in Bogota, Colombia. Dates are 12th – 14th June 2017, and the guest speaker is Professor Peter Rimensberger, Director of the Paediatric & Neonatal ICU at the University Hospital of Geneva.

Professor Rimensberger is a specialist in clinical pathology and mechanical ventilation in infants and children. He has an enormous amount of experience to share, having a significant body of work published covering various aspects of mechanical ventilation, lung recruitment and lung protective strategies, as well as other aspects of Paediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care.

Course content
> Current practice and the Clinical Evidence
> Modes of ventilation
> Mechanism of lung injury
