SLE FlowGen
Developed in cooperation with nurses and physicians, the new SLE FlowGen incorporates a range of ‘must have’ features that set entirely new standards in neonatal CPAP.
These include:
- Effective gas delivery
- Low weight (to minimise mechanical damage to the baby’s nose) and
- Low noise
SLE has also made the FlowGen transparent to allow easy visualisation of contamination.
Other features include:
- Lower noise levels during CPAP (up to 40% quieter)
- Compact, lightweight design means prongs remain in place (up to 20% lighter)
- Comfortable - 3 axis swivel allows for optimal positioning
- Anatomically shaped prong and mask design
- Tube-in-tube design allows heat exchange, reducing condensation
- Lower profile - means less tilt and less pressure injury
- Single tube design eases fitting and prevents entanglement
- Unique three-way connector speeds up connection and reduces risk of mistakes
- Choice of prongs gives a better fit
- Easy training and operation
Three sizes of prongs and 3 sizes of masks optimise the fitting of the generator to the infant’s nose, and 12 sizes of bonnets offer a wide choice of fittings to varying head sizes.
Single patient use, packaged complete with delivery circuit, can be used on most nCPAP flow/blender devices available on the market today.
